Stewardship

At Medallion, we believe we have a responsibility as an oil and gas operator to uphold comprehensive environmental, health, and safety standards.

This means always adhering to the values that drive how we do business – respect, responsiveness, and a commitment to serve. It also means maintaining the highest level of ethics; making safety a top priority; minimizing our environmental footprint; giving back to the communities where we live and work; and supporting and empowering our employees.

Being a good steward of the environment, our communities, and the people we work with isn’t just critical for success – it is the right thing to do – and we remain committed to integrity and accountability in all facets of our business.

Our Approach to Stewardship

Environmental Stewardship

  • We employ strict design, construction, operations, and maintenance procedures to reduce waste and increase efficiencies.
  • We seek to avoid, minimize and/or mitigate our impact on local habitats and wildlife, engaging third-party environmental experts and conservationists.
  • We fully comply with all applicable regulatory requirements.

Governance

  • We maintain a corporate governance structure that ensures honesty, fairness and transparency in all our business dealings.
  • We focus on supply chain management, verifying that our contractors and the organizations we do business with adhere to the same standards we apply to ourselves.
  • We value an inclusive workplace, treating all employees and stakeholders fairly and without prejudice to gender, race, age, religion, disability, or socioeconomic status.

“Stewardship’ and  ‘ESG’ are not just policies at Medallion – they  are woven into the fabric of who we are. It is up to the leaders to set the tone and the example, driving the way business is conducted at all levels.”
